brims Summer Camp- AUg 6-10, 2018

2018 BRIMS Summer Day Camp offers students a rich cultural experience that includes Irish music, dance, singing, drama, Irish language, crafts and more! BRIMS Receives Bama Works Grant

BRIMS wants to thank the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation (CACF) for selecting our organization as a recipient of a Bama Works grant.  We are very grateful to be among one of the 100 Central Virginia organizations chosen this year.

Bua is Brian Ó hAirt (vocals, sean-nós dance, concertina), Sean Gavin (flute, uilleann pipes, whistle), Devin Shepherd (fiddle) and Brian Miller (guitar, bouzouki).
Bua (boo-ah) evokes the good times that are the core of Irish traditional music.  Precise, intense, and straight forward, the quartet is comprised of some of America’s most talented award winning musicians. They “raise the rafters with their playing, charm with their singing, and delight with their contemporary energy.” (Dirty Linen)  The Irish Music Association awarded them Top Traditional Group of 2009.
